Excited about the multiple widgets with different calendars I have downloaded and installed the development version on the Sprint Hero. Multiple widgets with different calendars works, except after a reboot they loose what calendars the widget was supposed to display so I have to open it and reselect the calendars. That may be a Hero only issue though.

The 3×2 widget has an issue at the bottom where the add/tool/refresh Icons are. They are appearing to the right and I only see the add and half of the tool icons, and no refresh icon at all on the widget.

At them moment you can’t add skins, though I will be adding this functionality so if you are interested in mocking up a replacement I will have something to work with!

Regarding the color, it is possible to move it, and I will consider it

Is there a way to add your own skin? Also would it be possible to skin the bottom bar, or change the color?

One last question/request: would it be possible to move the calendar colors from next to the date icon, to into the date icon, under the day?

I’m a big fan of this widget. Exactly what I needed. Well, almost. I would pay to have Google task syncing.

@les For other users, the outcome was to try and add the widget on a completely empty screen. The Droid wouldn't let the user add the widget because the screen was to full.

@Mike Hey Mike, thanks for the great feedback! I am looking at updating the way the 2x2 and 4x1 look at the moment and I will take these suggestions into consideration!

Hello, I’m very interested in this app but, I cannot get it to show up on my phone. It says that it was successfully downloaded, but I cannot find it. I have followed your algorithm, but the add button is not allowing me to push it. Hope you can help and hope this makes any sense to you. Thank you. My phone is a motorola droid.

Thanks for such a great product! I just started using a 2×2 widget on my Moto Droid and really love the features. There are a couple things I would like to suggest though:

1. I use Home++ which can eliminate the notifier line which increases the vertical size of widgets. The 2×2 widget does not appear to read the lines available when sizing itself like some other widgets.

2. I could not find any way to change the format of the date for entries in the 2×2 widget. I hoped to use “E – d” to shorten things up but none of the date fields, even the Icon date format I expected, seemed to make a difference.

3. For 2×2 widget, how about an option to BOLD the date in lieu of Date Icon. That would highlight the new day without the space needed for the icon.

4. Suggestion: If the event text is selected to be the calendar color, the calendar identifier vertical bar could be eliminated as redundant.

5. The refresh function button could be replaced by the current date in the 2×2 widget since a refresh happens automatically or when forced by entering and leaving settings.

6. Some of the settings menus cannot be edited easily on the Moto Droid. I.E. for the Advanced Calendar Date menu: using soft keyboard in portrait mode only the first line is visible to edit. In landscape with the hard keyboard, NONE of the entry date field is visible since that menu cannot be scrolled. I ended up highlighting the entire field using Select All in portrait, then opening the keyboard and in the blind typing the characters I wanted.
